- I was just wondering if the A3000 and the GVP IO extender external
- scsi ports are compatible?
- I made a cable to connect a 50pin header cable to the external db25pin
- connector on the Amiga3000. This cable runs into an external box that
- has it's own power supply and contains a SCSI Tape and a HD.
- The cable was made according to the schematics in the A3000 manual.
-
- Now a friend wants me to connect my external scsi box, to his GVP IO
- extender to make use of my Tape and the drive in my the box, on his
- computer, which is an A2000 with a GVP.
-
- Can my box just be plugged in or do I have to make a cable again that
- conforms to the GVP. (The bloke lost his manuals, otherwise I would
- know if it works and how they need to be connected.)
-
- A list of the GVP db25 pinouts would be greatly appreciated.
-
- Thanks in Advance.
